Abdala Karame

Dr. Abdala Karame is an internationally renowned endometriosis, pelvic pain specialist and women’s health expert. Dr. Karame completed his medical education at “La Salle” University in Mexico and then he took his residency training in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Instituto Mexicano Del Seguro Social (I.M.S.S.) in México DF.
Dr. Karame had his training in Infertility and Reproductive Surgery, Gynecological Endocrinology at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Houston with his professors Robert R. Franklin, M.D. & William J. Schindler,Ph.D. M.D. & Microsurgery in Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Tx.
After that he specialized in Laparoscopic Gynecology and Hysteroscopy Surgery at the same hospital in Texas and then in Reproductive endocrinology at the University of Alcalá, Spain.
Nowadays Dr. Karame is the director of the Dr Abdala Karame Medical Center in Venezuela, a reference center for patients with endometriosis and infertility, also Director and Active Professor of the postgraduate training in Reproductive Surgery and Endometriosis at the Universidad del Zulia (L.U.Z) in Venezuela.
Author of multiple research papers on endometriosis and its surgical and medical treatment, also active member of international societies such as AAGL and SOVECEGMI, of which he is currently Director.
